Nearly three years and four albums later, the Walking Roots Band is delighted to be returning to Lockport Mennonite Church in Archbold, Ohio. Lockport was one of the first stops on the first major tour we did to celebrate the release of our first CD, Shelter: A Hymn Reclamation Project, and we look forward to another warm reception from the good folks in that wonderful corner of Ohio. We can't wait to share new songs and stories with old friends!
The Walking Roots Band is elated to be heading back to the Thumb. We'll have a host of new songs to share three years after our first appearance in the area; four albums' worth, to be exact! We'll be promoting our new album, "Way Back Home," a fitting title for half of the band, for whom Michigan is home (and the other half for whom Michigan is a home-away-from-home). Come join us!
The Walking Roots Band is headed to Michigan, but we're making a pit-stop in Columbiana! Seth and Greg have enjoyed the warm hospitality and friendship of Grace and Alan Styer, and we're excited to be introducing the whole band to another little corner of the world that feels like home. Music starts at 7 PM, and we'll have a hot dog roast together at 6 PM. All are welcome to the cabinet shop behind the red barn!
A hometown show to a hometown crowd. Gotta love the hometown! We'll be playing some old favorites, and we're going to put a new spin on them. Also, lots of tunes from the new album, which continues to be so much fun to play. ALSO, because we're playing to a college crowd, all of our merchandise will be heavily discounted! This is your chance to stock up on gifts for the year!
We're thrilled to be back at one of the neatest venues you could imagine, located in an old elementary school in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The intimate seating, excellent sound, and fantastic lighting set the stage for a truly memorable night of music-making. Check out Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center and get your tickets here.
